What you can do with the wallet

• Cash in with QR Ph. Scan the code with any bank or e-wallet app, like GCash, Coins.ph, BDO, or UnionBank.
• Cash out to your bank or e-wallet, such as GCash, Maya, BPI, BDO, or UnionBank, through InstaPay or PESONet.
• Pay for pasabuy orders straight from your balance.
• Send money to other Hoppers by phone number, email, or @username.
• Get paid by QR. Other yayhop users can scan your personal QR code to send you money.
• Track every peso, with a full history of cash-ins, transfers, holds, releases, and refunds.

How the payment hold protects you

Paying a stranger upfront is the biggest risk in informal pasabuy. On yayhop, your money doesn't go to the Hopper until you've received your order:

1. You approve the quote. The full amount moves from your available balance to on hold.
2. The Hopper buys and delivers while your payment stays held. They can see it's there, but they can't spend it yet.
3. The Hopper adds photo proof of delivery, and you're asked to confirm.
4. You confirm, and the payment is released to the Hopper's wallet. You both get a receipt.

What happens if an order doesn't go through

• Declined or cancelled by the Hopper: the held amount is refunded to your wallet.
• Something's wrong with the order: either side can report a problem. The money stays frozen while yayhop support reviews it, then it's refunded or released based on the outcome.
• No confirmation from the buyer: 8 days after the order is marked delivered, and if no problem has been reported, the order completes automatically so the Hopper gets paid. The buyer gets a reminder first.

Protection for Hoppers, too

Because the buyer pays before you start shopping, you know the money is there before you spend your own. Once the buyer confirms, or the order auto-completes, the payment lands in your wallet and you can cash out anytime.

Verified identities

To activate wallet features like cashing in, sending money, and cashing out, you verify your identity with a valid government ID and a quick selfie check, confirm your phone number, and set a wallet PIN. So the people moving money on yayhop are real, checked people.
